Prof. Hui-Yu Zhou, University of Leicester, UKProf. Huiyu Zhou received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Radio Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Dundee of United Kingdom, respectively. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, supervised by Professors Patrick Green (Psychology) and Andrew Wallace (Computer Engineering).Prof. Zhou heads the Applied Algorithms and AI (AAAI) Theme and leads the Biomedical Image Processing Lab (BIPL) at University of Leicester. He was Director of MSc Programme (2018-2019) and Coordinator of MSc Distance Learning at Informatics (2018-2022), and is PGR Director and Deputy Director of Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Modelling (AIDAM). Prior to this appointment, he worked as Reader (2018-2020) at University of Leicester, and Lecturer (2012-2017) at the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen's University Belfast (QUB). Prof. Anu Gokhale, Saint Augustine’s University, USADr. Anu Gokhale serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Information Systems at Saint Augustine’s University. She has been selected as a 2023-24 Convergence Fellow by the Association of American Colleges & Universities and was a Fellow with the Center for Advancement of STEM Leadership, 2022-23. Formerly, she served as a Distinguished Professor and Coordinator of the Computer Systems Technology program at Illinois State University. Gokhale has completed thirty years as faculty and has received several College and University research, teaching and service awards. Having earned certifications in online delivery, she was recruited to mentor colleagues in online teaching beginning March 2020. Gokhale is honored with four prestigious Fulbright awards: Specialist in Data Analytics in Healthcare, Egypt, 2022; Specialist in Cybersecurity, India, 2017; Distinguished Chair in STEM+C, Brazil, 2016; and Scholar in Computer Engineering, India, 2003. She was a Visiting Professor in the College of Business at Shandong University in China in spring 2017 and a Faculty Fellow in Israel in summer 2017. She leads research teams in the U.S., and internationally in India, China, and Brazil. Her achievements encompass extensively cited refereed publications; groundbreaking externally funded research supported by a continuous 20-year stream of grants from state and federal agencies including the National Science Foundation; and elevation of the student experience through excellence in teaching, mentorship, and the creation of opportunities for students to get involved in research. Originally from India, she a bachelor’s from University of Mumbai, India; master’s in physics‒electronics from The College of William & Mary, and a doctorate from Iowa State University, USA. Dr. Gokhale authored a second edition of her book Introduction to Telecommunications, which has an international edition in Chinese. As an active volunteer in IEEE, she has served as MGA representative to the Educational Activities Board, Women in Engineering Coordinator, and R4 Educational Activities Chair. She was honored with the IEEE Third Millennium Medal and 2019 Region 4 Outstanding Professional Award. She consults for healthcare facilities to increase access and productivity while responsibly leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Dr. Gokhale continues to be an invited keynote speaker at various international conferences and has visited over 25 countries. She has delivered multiple workshops on hybrid teaching & learning, STEM public policy, as well as on AI applications across a range of sectors in the healthcare industry. Prof. Yajun Liu, South China University of Technology, ChinaProf. Yajun Liu is currently a professor at the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at South China University of Technology. From December 2009 to December 2010, Prof. Liu was a visiting professor at the Fluid Dynamics Research Center (FPRC) at Purdue University in the United States. From February 2005 to July 2016, Prof. Liu worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Tokheim Joint Venture in China. Prof. Liu obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China in June 2002. Prof. Nianyin Zeng, Xiamen University, ChinaNianyin Zeng is currently a Professor in the Department of Instrumental and Electrical Engineering at Xiamen University. From September 2017 to August 2018, he held the prestigious position of ISEF Fellow sponsored by the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies, while also serving as a Visiting Professor at the esteemed Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
